Taking the test
- How long does it take?
- Twenty questions, untimed. Go at your own pace; we will publish a typical time once we have measured one.
- Is there a time limit?
- No. Nothing counts down and nothing expires while you are thinking.
- Do I need an account?
- Sign in with Google first — no form, no password. Then you begin the test immediately.
- Can I change an answer?
- Yes. You can go back, and the last answer you give is the one that counts.
- What if I close the tab?
- Your progress is saved. Come back to the same browser and you can pick the test up at the question you left.
Cost and what you get
- What is free?
- The whole test, your band, and three of your four category strengths.
- What costs money?
- Your exact score, the fourth category, and a full review of every question with the answer explained. Available as a one-time unlock — see the price at checkout.
- Is it a subscription?
- No. It is a single payment for a single result. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
- Can I see my result again later?
- Yes, from the same browser. Your result is kept.
Accuracy
- How accurate is it?
- More honest than a clinical measurement pretending to be exact. We score you consistently and we're upfront that the norms are still being built — we'd rather tell you that than sell you false precision.
- What is the highest score possible?
- 142. A twenty-question test cannot reliably distinguish the extremes, so we do not report beyond that.
- Why do you not show a percentile?
- We're not going to hand you a percentile we made up. The second we've got the real data, you'll see it — until then, a fake number isn't a feature, it's a lie with good formatting.
Privacy
- What happens to my answers?
- Your answers are used to score your test, and — in aggregate with everyone else's — to improve the test and calibrate scoring over time. You sign in with Google to start; we don't ask for a separate password, and we store no IP address or device data ourselves.
- What do you store?
- The questions you were served, your answers, and which campaign or link brought you here.
- Do you store my IP address?
- No, and there is no column in the database to put one in.
- Do you sell my data?
- No.
